The outskirts of Richmond, Virginia have been my home for as long as I can remember. As a child, I inherited my sharp intuition from my mother and my hunger for knowledge from my father. In 2013 I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BFA in Craft/Material Studies, with focus in Fiber and Metal. Currently, I make metal things at Mule Barn Craft Studio in Richmond.
In 2016, I completed the Graphic Design Certificate at Savannah College of Art and Design. Until my studies at SCAD, I had been self taught in that field. While jewelry and graphic design may seem vastly different, I enjoy the subtle connections--such as the way making a handmade clasp is much like playing with type.
There are times when self expression may require me to make use of other media such as paint, fiber, or music. Though you’ll ususally find me dressed in black, I have a passion for color in my designs.
